Prenuptial Agreement

Prenuptial Agreement / Dissolution Provisions

Planning to get married while creating a Prenuptial Agreement that already has provisions regarding what will happen with assets if the marriage ends in dissolution, can seem negative. However, it is simply prudent advance planning. The old, “If you fail to plan then you plan to fail” saying comes to mind in this situation. These provisions simply tie together the provisions regarding what separate property is being brought to the marriage along with what debts and what is or what will become community property.
